In training we're taught to never back up, never submit your will. Once you have submitted you're will, you have lost all power. So in times like these, where the world is falling apart, what type of warriors would we be if we didn't fight? Sometimes that fight is physical, sometimes it isn't. Sometimes, it's a simple word you say that can save a life, or sometimes it's a thousand punches. Whatever it is, our instructor made sure we have the conviction to go through our opponent. Only a coward would sit back while they're people in need, especially if you are equipped with the tools to help. So I will fight, even if that means my own death because there is no greater spur to victory than death. My dad always says to me "in the words of Marcus Garvey ' Up you mighty race, accomplish what you will'."
